How to Manage Interior Design Client Approvals
Get clear, recorded approvals on quotations, designs and changes so work isn't held up and disputes don't start.
Approve one version at a time
Send a single, numbered version of the proposal. When the customer asks for changes, create a new version rather than editing the old one, so everyone knows which one was approved.
Record the approval
A thumbs-up on WhatsApp is easy to lose. Ask the customer to approve the proposal itself — a signed copy or an online approval link — and keep the date with it.
Approve changes in writing too
Site changes after approval affect cost and time. Put each change in writing with its cost before doing the work.
