Wrong or unclear units
Mixing sq.ft and running ft for the same kind of item, or not stating the unit, leads to arguments at billing time.
Spreadsheet formula errors
Copied rows with broken formulas, or subtotals that skip rows, are common. Recheck that totals match the sum of lines.
Missing exclusions
If electrical work, appliances or civil changes are not included, say so explicitly.
Tax and validity
Show GST separately and state how long the quote is valid.
Payment terms not tied to work
Percentages without stages leave room for dispute. Link each payment to completed work.
